London Singer Amy Winehouse found dead

London star Amy Winehouse has been found dead at her home in Camden, North London. She was only 27 years old. An ambulance was called to her house in the afternoon but it was too late to save her. A Metropolitan Police spokesman has confirmed that the star has passed away but the cause of death is not yet known.

Fans are devastated by the news and many have been leaving flowers and messages at the scene. Amy Winhouse had been worshiped by the public and the music industry and her talent had been recognised by many awards including Brit awards, five Grammy Awards and Mercury Prize.  Since her first album in 2003, she had been recognised as an extremely talented singer, musician and performer. In 2006, her album Back to Black brought her worldwide stardom.

For years, Amy Winehouse had been battling with drink and drug addiction and had spent time in rehab on more than one occasion. Amy had been working on her long-awaited new album for the past three years. It’s a really sad day for all Londoners and fans from around the world. She had so much talent.

Amy made her last public appearance on Wednesday night at The Roundhouse in Camden. She was an incredible performer and will be remembered for her voice, her unique style and hair and her musical talent. She did not follow trends and had set her own style: tattoos, black beehive style hairdo and black thick eye liner make up.
